Commercial Planning Appeals

Having planning refused is frustrating, RBA Town Planning excel in appeals for commercial planning applications. The refusal of commercial applications be it residential development, retail development, or industrial development can often be based on unfounded reasons, in our experience all too often planning applications are refused on what we describe as "best-fit Policy". In short, some policies can be used to refuse development in a made to fit manor given the openness of policy wording and the lack of clear direction.

In these circumstances RBA specialise in discrediting the refusals by picking through the finer details of an application and the Planning Officers Report. We identify weaknesses in their arguments and build our Appeal Case around them; winning approximately 80% of appeals submitted.

How will I know whether to Appeal?

Finding out whether or not to appeal is easy, simply click the enquire now button below to complete a quick contact form; we will be in touch to provide a free no obligation assessment of your proposal. After a detailed read of your proposal, we will review the reasons for refusal and assess the strength of an appeals case.

How long does it take?

An appeal can usually take between 4 and 6 months, this is due to the set procedures that are laid out by the Planning Inspectorate.

What if my Appeal is unsuccessful?

At RBA we will not leave you high and dry, if in the unfortunate event the Appeal is dismissed we will work through your options and explore other avenues of obtaining your planning permission.
